the Corvette Z06, released in 2006, is powered by an LS7, a?427 inch variation
of the 265 inch small block, as well.? Producing 505 HP, it?was the only
production?car over 400 HP to avoid the gas guzzler tax.
The 400 badged cars of the 70s could have been either a small block, or a
smog version of the big block, dispacing 403 cu inch.
Finally, a twin turbo version of the LS7 is making the news lately, with
somewhere about 650 HP, when released, and using a few LESS cubic inches which
will allow a beefier block.
