Liquid nails takes a long time to dry. Foam may fall off before it dries.

Contact cement might dissolve the EPS, but it would be great otherwise. I
might try 3m super trim spray adhesive if compatible with the foam. And you
definitely want some foil on the back to keep the steel from radiating heat
inward, if I understand correctly.

There is stuff for that polystyrene, panel glue maybe? I don’t know what might
work on the plastic but I’m sure there is some product for it.

[MBZ] OT: Adhesvie recommendations needed

2022-07-21 Thread OK Don via Mercedes
I need to glue something like this:
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Tuftex-Multi-Wall-6mm-Panel-Clear-4-ft-x-8-ft-Corrugated-Polycarbonate-Plastic-Roof-Panel/1000689436

and this:
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Insulfoam-Common-0-5-in-x-4-ft-x-8-ft-Actual-0-5-in-x-4-ft-x-8-ft-1-R-1-9-Faced-Polystyrene-Garage-Door-Foam-Board-Insulation/3033278

to the inside of the hangar door - corrugated steel on a steel frame.

It's too hot with some bare metal sections and the two large translucent
fiberglass panels for light when the afternoon sun is shining on it.
Most of the door has the foil backed foam, but the top ¼ doesn't.

What would you use to glue it up - liquid nails, or ???
