Use google maps to see this bridge accident from earlier today at Skagit River. The bridge is already gone at google maps. Interesting... mao.. This morning's TV coverage of this event was overrun with all the state and local politicians rushing to the scene to offer their unqualified opinions. Smarmy. All I want to hear is if the steel has been ordered and the cranes are on the way to clear the debris and build a replacement. As of today, a crowd of highway department guys in yellow hardhats and vests peering over the edges. Lots of pickups and clipboards, also.
