I'm thinking dead cell in your battery, or dead short in starter. Next time it happens, see if the starter has gotten warm. -- Max Dillon Charleston SC '87 300TD '95 E300 On February 1, 2018 8:11:41 PM EST, clay monroe via Mercedeswrote: >My adventure was trying to figure out why the SDL hates me. > >This has happened before. My adventure was trying to figure out why the SDL hates me. This has happened before. I got in after she had been sitting for a few weeks. Figured I should give her legs a stretch. I gave her a glow, then tried to light off. Everything went dead. No lights, no dash, nothing. All manner of key turns, and nothing. Drove the other w126. When I got back, I hoped everything had reset, but it had not. Plugged the charger in and set it on 50amp light off. Everything behaved, and she lit off. Battery was not dead. A little low on power when hooked to the charger at 1amp. Five hours later, it is all topped up. Maybe I need to chase wires and see if there is corrosion. clay 1974 450sl - Frosch - Two tone green 1986 SDL - Polei 1982 300 SD - Allen retired models- 2002 s430 - Victor, a Stately & well tailored crap 1976 300D - Blei Vanst - it looks silvery 1972 220D - Gump - She was green, simple and ran 1995 E300D - Gave her life to save me against a Dame in a SUV POS 1987 SDL - Beware Nigerian Scammers > On Feb 1, 2018, at 5:00 PM, Kaleb C.
