If it's anything like the one on my '87, the original "pin" was one piece too, it's just broken. I had no trouble grabbing the broken pin with a pair of needle-nose pliers, but yours may have less clearance; I would think a large pair of tweezers, forceps, or some similar tool would work. Hello list- Got a replacement modulator for my '91 300D from Rusty: The new modulator requires use of an "updated" pin (p/n 126 277 93 75) which I got. Question is this: The modulator comes with what looks like a two piece pin, with a pin thats removable from the piston. The required pin 126 277 93 75 is single piece and it APPEARS that the piston piece should be pulled from the modulator. Is this correct? I can't get it out of the bore with reasonable force.
