[MBZ] Trunk opener inside

2006-08-20 Thread Harry Watkins
My 1985 300D Euro has a pull wire to open the trunk from inside the car. Is
this standard equipment on most MBs?

It is located under the sound pad, under the rear seat, directly behind the
drivers seat. Its a thin wire with a finger loop about 4 inches from the seat
front.

I went out of state to bring the Euro home, but an old Mercedes + grandson + 2
years = parts car. It would get up to about 65 on a down grade and only 45 on
upgrades, I took it back after about 30 miles and will go back with fuel
filters on my next try. (sigh).

Some seem to have it, some don't. I never figured out why.

Check the throttle linkage too. That was the Albatross's big problem.
