[MBZ] W210 Side View Mirrors

If you’ve got a W210 chassis car you may very well have a broken mirror or one 
that’s in bad shape. The internal “hook” that the spring that holds the mirror 
tight to the frame often breaks, making the mirror flop around like a fish or 
allows it to vibrate while you’re driving. The OE mirror is NLA I believe, and 
if not, it’s stupid expensive.

I found a seller on eBay who offers both exterior side view mirrors that are a 
direct replacement of the stock mirror with full adjustment and heated glass. 
The cover comes with it so you can paint it to match your car, or just use the 
stock cover you already have.

I bought these for my 1999 E320 4Matic and they both fit and work perfectly.

I repaired one by drilling a small hole in the pot metal part that had 
not yet broken (the bit of it that the spring hooks to was snapped off), 
putting in a short piece of 8d nail, and looping the spring over it to 
hold it in position.  Works great, no cost other than a bit of time.
