One of the joys of having a WISP is when a storm blows thru lightening can hit the tower and take out the radio. The tower I am on has 8 radios. Normally a storm may take out 1-2. We had a storm come thru early Saturday morning and the tower took a direct lightening hit taking out all 8. They had spare equipment for 2 radios only so we have been our since then. They got the remaining back up today and now my speeds are even faster. Keep in mind I am on the 12mbps plan.
