Not sure, the boy is down here in the mtns with us, he caught a ride with a classmate to Gboro and met up with his sister, then drove here yesterday. Might be in the summer at some point. I do want to meet up though. --R On 12/22/2012 3:00 PM, Andrew Strasfogel wrote: When is your next swing thru DC RIch? Don't forget to get the small gasket between the thermostat housing and the head 'cause you will have to take that off to do the job. I also heard recently that Mercedes is once again selling that short piece of hose as a part. When I did the job all they had was a 3 meter long piece that would have to be ordered. Re: [MBZ] asheville trip
Absolutely. Unfortunately I was leaving the next day on a rather long trip and couldn't wait for that. OK so I should have done the inspection earlier but then I had just replaced the overflow tank that had a slight leak due to a crack the week before and didn't think there was another leak. It's what I get for thinking. Like you said before, do it all at one time and be done with it. Would have been really good if I had. [MBZ] asheville trip 300td leaking coolant
Folks ok i have the big hose . i think i bought 1/2 a meter for about $15 or so, it was cheap and i did not have the thermostat gasket, flaps is supposed to have me one tomorrow for $3 the leak looks to be where the thermostat goes in, so i'll likely just change that i replaced the big hose a few years ago with a good used on because i had it, not because i was being cheap mine had only failed because i had a leaking sls hose that dumped precious citroen fluid one the thermostat area thanks, xx rick Rick Hawkins ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

And take a very close look at the other hoses. No, you wouldn't have to.
