Oil change time. 1977 240D. What is total oil capacity including filling the new filter (of coarse)? German oil filter (type and part #), And anybody using the German Liqui moly 10/40 semi synthetic oil? Is it 6.5 U.S. Quarts? Thanks People! I mean, like look in the manual? Or use the googles? I remember the time I changed the oil in a 300D. Put in 4 qts of the stuff we used in the diesel wrecker. Checked dipstick. Put in another qt. Still didn't hit the add mark. Then there is the guy who’s transmission won’t shift into 4th, just revs. Experts tell him to check and adjust vacuum.
