I still have an old Mac II fx, which I got simply because it was cheap  
(surplus from my neighbor's work) and cost $10,000 new.  Works fine so  
far as I know, we used it to do the newsletter for the homebrew club  
for years until the monitor blew.  Pretty spiff for 1990:  40 MHz  
Motorola 68000 something chip, 24 MB Ram (in the days when a PC could  
only use a couple MB without drastic expense or gyrations), super VGA  
monitor.


Probably still works, but I don't have room to run it just for fun, it  
sits on the shelf in the basement next to my HyType II printer that  
quit in 1990.

[MBZ] old macs

I still have an imac g-3 under power  i mostly use it for some old  
files that i print occasionally that are in pagemaker  for some  
reason the pagemaker won't make .pdf  files of them


we have a couple or maybe 3 floating screen imacs (g-4) hooked up to a  
film scanner and around the office


most of the real work is done on a pair of macbook core 2 duo machines

on the road i use a macbook and an ipad  with 3g (one of the original  
ones which are WAY cheap now and pretty great)
