Thats cool. Wish I had a 123 with that low of mileage :):) I used to have one (this probably doesnt count) of my wife's old corolla at 131313 miles. shortly thereafter it developed an allergy to the clutch (started slipping real bad)... given its advanced stage of skin cancer, it wasn't worth it :( (The engine was replaced at 40-45k due to a cracked block, fwiw) (ob-rice-bash) I have one of my E300 at 11 :) -j.

To answer Craig's question: I admit I had a helper to take the photo. We were anticipating the shot for a hundred miles or two as we trekked across the states. The wife even took some preliminary shots. (distracted her from the pot-shots she usually takes). I was prepared to pull off onto the shoulder in case I couldn't get 'er over 75 in order to get the needle out of the way. This should answer JB's question regarding the model we're talking about. It is quite interesting, though to become aware of those little dots that indicate the shift points. You can tell how little time I've had this auto. The trick, or at least the way I handled the same situation, is to crank the resolution way up on the camera, so you can take the shot without looking through the viewfinder and then crop it down to what you want, later.
