My Emerald Green W140 had MSU stickers on driver's door and trunk lid. The story that came with the car says it's green because the original owner, an MSU fan, ordered it that way. It's a fairly standard S420 with SLS, Bose Audio and HID headlamps added (HID somewhat rare in 1997, SLS standard on S500). I assume the reference to OSU is a local thing given where the vehicle is located. It looks to be the same colour as my 76 115 300D. Andrew refers to it as mittlerod if I recall correctly - middle red - not lipstick red and not burgundy - more like cherry pie filling. Also about the same colour as my truck which Ford calls ruby red.
