So, if the pins and the holes line up, take the nylon sockets from the 123
lid and put them in the holes in the 115 lid.

The 115 has fairly large diameter pins. On ours, I removed the badges and
their fastening clips to polish the trunk lid. I used a die to thread the
pins and then used a nut, a lock washer, and a flat washer to put the
badges back on. I don't recall if the nut was a 6-32 or an 8-32.

The 123 has small diameter pins which poke into nylon-like "fittings" in
the trunk lid.
