A number of years ago global cooling was popular. Our effluents were supposed to block out the sun and turn the world into a big ice cube. Beginning to look like the coolers were right and the warmers were wrong. Nope, the data shows roughly 30 year heating and cooling cycles. We are about 10 years into the cooling cycle. Dr. Deming always said to never confuse normal variation with special cause variation. Hmmm, 10 years in, that tells me now is when the smart money will start looking at used G Wagons. That would also explain why the SL market is sliding downhill.
