OK, but how much does a gallon of the stuff cost?  Even if it's $30/gallon,
if I only have to change my antifreeze once every 5 years it becomes worth
it.

Of course, what's the point of such long-life coolant if it outlasts the
radiator hoses?

Usually radiator hoses are good for more than 5 years, I think.

Personally, I'm still waiting for the Mobil 1 Delvac Extended Life 
Windshield Washer Fluid.

I agree.  I don't know that I've EVER had to replace a radiator hose on any
of about 15 vehicles in the course of about 15 years.  I think maybe once I
had to...

I'm waiting for the long life car-wash soap...
