I am running Vista Premium and just downloaded the latest version of JAVA to? run the EPC.? My first search was to run the part number of a vacuum pump which I got from an 85 190E 2.3.? I got 28 hits world wide on chassis (201, 126, 124, etc)?applications,and close to?a 60 model applications.? This will make it easier to sell the 12 or 14 vacuum pumps I have collected! It appears they HAVE updated their operating systems, just not their guidelines. My parent's machine (which I'm using right now) has Vista Home. I haven't decided yet if the computer is just slow or if its the fact that the Compaq has just enough oomph to run all the Vista crap which is turned on. Actually, quite a lot does. My old amateur radio logging and digital mode software all runs just fine on it. If you don't need all that MAC look-a-like crap, just turn it off, and Vista is just fine (IF your hardware works).
