As this is really off-topic, I don't feel too ashamed in saying that
maybe they should ban sports equipment (and perhaps dis-arm black
belts?)

How may people have union thugs beat with baseball bats?

along with hammers, machetes, and the stuff already listed, We should
ban Baseball bats, Lacross and hockey sticks, the game of hockey etc.

Then there are bricks.

Oh, and we must not forget to ban nail guns, Those do serious damage too.

But perhaps the most dangerous weapon is bathtubs.

Andrew, can you get your guys on banning all this stuff?

Those things sometimes snap quite easily. One of my son's teammates had
a titanium shaft break into three pieces when he checked another
player. Not cheap, but kinda brittle.

That is a different issue than the big gummit revenue cameras. They
are not about law, they are about revenue. They are about extortion.
There are lots of cases where people have proven they were not
speeding when the revenue cameras say they were. the camera company
just fiddles with the radar to issue the numbers of tickets they want.

When they shorten the yellow light time at intersections when the red
light cameras go up, you can't argue that it is for safety or the
chilluns. It is about money. Don't get suckered into the trap.

True traffic safety studies show that increasing the yellow light
time decreases accidents; increases safety.

There are also studies that show accidents increase where the
redlight cameras go up.

Do a web search on simon conway traffic cameras. If you do the
research there is lots of evidence that the cameras are all about
revenue.
