It's a corruption of Moor, my people were busy during the crusades, 
Killer of Moors.
Pronounced, "Hey! You! wit da glassez!  or as if it were spelled Moyer.
People will spell it Moyer and I keep telling them, it's a FOUR LETTER WORD!

Yinglish = Moir (Moyer)
Down East = Hey, Fred
Yankee = Aside,  "Some kind of Scot, perhaps?"
