Re: [MBZ] OT small generator

2017-05-07 Thread Curt Raymond via Mercedes
I have a 1200w 2 stroke generator similar to the HF one, it's adequate, will
run our fridge or freezer. Kinda loud, I'm thinking to mount a 4 wheeler pipe
on it for additional quieting.
For a few lights an inverter off the car would be enough...

some little generator if I needed to run some LED shop lights or tools

enough, 20% coupon makes it like $87 or so, get the warranty if it craps
out.  Any ideas?  I have a bigger one here in the garage but it would be
kinda overkill for just small loads.

Or should I find a bigger one on CL?  Like this one?

I assume you are referring to that big diesel rig. He probably bought
it at a base auction around here somewhere and is now flipping it. $3k
seems a decent price, but it is a bit more than I need for now, unless I
want to hook it into the house.

It’s missing a muffler from what I can tell, unless there’s a little pepper pot

so the exhaust is going up then making a right angle out the side of that sheet

How about a V12?

On a less silly note, what's this? It's right here in Charlotte, but more than
I ever paid for a used generator.

Since you now need to move out a car, I'll give you $250 for that 300SEL
so long as it is drivable to get to loosiana! Easy money!
