I was actually considering one of these before I found my W140 last month... I think they're quite good cars. Electronics wise they're fine, but like any complex modern cars you're best off investing in a OBD2 code reader. And there are still lots of electronics to rely on compared to cars 20 years older. Dwight answered the COMAND question... since they're Becker units, theres still service available for them. Good luck! I can't answer for Jaime but I do know if I go way into my Command system his name is there as one of the engineers who designed it. My 2005 E320 just had to have Command system replaced # 167k miles. 300 or so dollars,for the part plus,about 1 hour labor from my regular MB Indy.
