Well, get out your soldering iron -- Reminds me of the saying Real radios glow in the dark. I built an H. H. Scott stereo amp kit (all tubes) when I was in H.S. for my dad - it sounded great, and ran for many years. He threw it away after buying a new integrated stereo system, and told me about it a month later -- would have loved to keep it running.
