Re: [MBZ] what's this heap of W210 worth?
That could be a good beater, sadly. For $1550 you could probably get your money out of it, even if you just bang out the dinged parts. --R On 12/4/11 1:22 PM, Mitch Haley wrote: $1000? $1200? http://swmi.craigslist.org/cto/2699288700.html Mitch. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

My next car purchase is almost certainly going to be a W210 E320 or E430 4Matic. I'd like a post-facelift '00 or later if I can find one without the Sport package (don't want the lower suspension or bigger wheels) and navigation crap. But the one in the CL ad would do for the time being. What's actually being sold? A 210 with a 4 liter V8 and 3rd row drop seats or a paddock basher, with one of the good ole boys hanging out of the sunroof with a rifle in hand, hunting them there critters? Yeah, the 3rd row seating and 4 liter V8 were rather confusing when the subject was E320 and the pic was a W210 sedan. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Many of the 5 speeds have electronic problems. But it might be hard to find out without replacing the circuit board, resetting the computer, and taking it for a drive. You might end up buying the electronics and then buying a rebuilt trans.
