I talked to Kevin about that. There's been a few bug fixes on the 6.4

together a 6.4.1 release with the latest fixes fairly quickly. Probably
next week.

I'd like to have one of my proposed fixes for bugzilla #5001 in. Do you
have an opinion as to which would be better for 6.4.1? I'd prefer the
second (longer) patch as it makes it much easier to understand what's
going on in __indirect_glInterleavedArrays, but I can also understand
reasons for prefering the first (two line) patch.

I'd apply the one-line fix to the 6.4 branch.

I took a quick look at your longer patch (the table-driven approach)
and found a bug in it just by visual inspection so I don't think it's
quite ready yet. I'll tell you what it is in the bug report... :)

Hi,

shouldn't there be a Mesa tarball in X11R7.0-RC2/extras? MESA-README in
RC1 stated that it would be added once Mesa 6.4 was released. According
to mesa3d.sf.net it was released on October 24.

Technically it needs to be a snapshot of the tip of the 6.4 branch for RC2.
Which I'm kind of loathe to do, but I suppose I don't have any other options.

Oh, good to know that Mesa 6.4 is not new enough. May save you one or
two bug reports. ;-) A short readme pointing that out would be fine with
me so that people know that it was not just forgotten and how to get the
right version. Will there be another Mesa 6.4.x release before RCfinal?
