RE: MC 2.5b3 (Scott Raney)

2003-02-04 Thread xbury . cs
If all goes according to plan,
I'll finish a new version of the Script Editor X version 1.4 with...

- a debugging button bar... far more practical than menus or command keys...
(Would you like it to be detacheable? As a palette?)
- Variable watcher that displays arrays' values
- New and improved Script editor for MC 2.4.* - up to date with 2.5...

- And, yes, you heard it here first: TYPEAHEAD is ready and typing...

So if any of you want to volunteer for testing... let me know...

The installer will be posted when finished and tested.

Cheers
Xavier

I like the spacebar idea. That is a lot easier than control-I.

Hmm, maybe the VW/MW/EC dialog menu items should just be moved from
 there into the debug menu?

That would be okay. It doesn't matter where they are, as long as we can
access them when debugging. I don't recall this being a problem until
beta 3, it must be a recent change.

I'd vote for that.

 Hi,
does it make sense not to have access to the tools-menu in debugMode???
 since 2.5b2 I think it´s disabled..

RE: MC 2.5b3 or 2.4 style?

2003-02-01 Thread Mr X
Just wondering where I should focus some efforts...

So I'll ask the kind users before guessing and fixing later...

Do you prefer the 2.5 script editor or the 2.4 interface (Metacard's)?

I've updated the 2.4 Script Editor X into 2.5 style!
It's totally cool what you can do with MC given backward compatibility!
And ideas are sprouting everywhere!

So I wish you all a great weekend!
It is snowing in Luxembourg which is amazing (almost an inch and people
panic!).
We need another meter to launch cyberworking!
(Before it comes to that, I go surfing with my other toy!)
