Thank you Dave,

It is always pleasant when someone recognizes one's efforts on other's behalf.

Gary

 Hi,
I just got my name onto http://www.meteorite-dealers.com/ - and had a snoop
around - looks great to me - a good place for all you dealers out there (and
collectors like me) to get our names in one location and how to find you lot

Even the normally self effacing and reticent Rob Elliott has gone and done
it - and he knows his stuff

Not too sure what all the fuss was with Gary asking people to submit to this
site - he is not selling anything - just asking you lot to post onto his

Anyway - in my naive and simplistic view I think it looks great!

 Good job, Gary!

Dear List Members,

The 2007 Tucson show will be open for business one month from today. As
usual, R.A. Langheinrich Meteorites and Lang's Fossils will be
exhibitors. However, 2007 will be a little different for us, as we will
be exhibiting exclusively at Tucson's most elegant hotel -- The
Westward Look Resort on Ina Road. This is the same location where we've
held our auction in previous years. Please note, we will no longer have
a room at the Best Western Executive Inn.

We will continue to provide the top quality meteorites and fossils
you've come to expect from one of the field's longest-established
businesses.

On Saturday, February 3, at 2 pm, we will hold our fourth annual
Westward Look Meteorite Auction. The 2007 auction will be our best
ever: 62 lots including historic witnessed falls, vintage numbered
irons, spectacular complete stones and more.

Some of the highlights include:

Camel Donga 97% crusted superb complete stone

Canyon Diablo 1,545 old collection piece with natural hole

There is NO buyer's premium — what you bid is what you pay!

We are looking forward to seeing old friends in Tucson and making some
new ones. Please stop by the Westward Look to say hello, enjoy our
extensive meteorite display and complimentary refreshments, as well as
the beautiful hotel grounds.

Please take note of our new show dates:

[meteorite-list] AD - Last Minute Page Update

2006-12-31 Thread ¤¤PolandMET¤¤
Hi
I add some new stuff to my page.

ALFIANELLO [L6] slices
On some slices I have found strange big round inclusions. I think this can't
be a chondruls, becouse it is L6 chondrite (slice 9.30g). Anyway its worth
to look at this. But one big and beautifull chondrule I have cut in half and
it is on remaining 57g endpiece and 9.08g slice.
http://www.polandmet.com/_alfianello.htm

BASZKÓWKA [L5] slice
This meteorite is very rare. Museum in Warsaw, Poland dont have or dont want
show any pieces for exchange so it is available only from private collectors
now. In fact this one is ultra difficult to get. Baszkowka is strange
meteorite. First it is one of the most beautifull oriented meteorite on the
world, it is fall W0 and have very low S1 shock grade in compare with other
L5 chondrites. And ofcourse it is very porous meteorite.
http://www.polandmet.com/_special.htm
Here is some photos of original main mass
http://www.meteoryt.net/sprawozd/baszkowka_2k6/index.htm

SaU 001 [L4/5] slices
Sau001 its nothing special for most collectors, but I have added incredible
slices if this meteorite. Slices are very rich in chondruls. They looks like
L3 and not L4/5. Together with excelent polishing they just rockzzz
http://www.polandmet.com/_sau001.htm

NWA 4434 [LL4] slices
Some new slices of this very nice looking LL4 chondrite that I have bough in
Midelt one year ago.
http://www.polandmet.com/_nwa4434.htm

Happy New Year to Everyone. Here are only 4 hours and 30 minutes left, and
I'm just going to party, so READ You all again tomorrow and SEE You all (for
the first time) in Tucson.

I wish myself a new fall in Poland.

We were out for a fine exotic dinner in our favorite Cambodian restaurant in

Hi to you people on the other side of the Big Pond who are still in 2006 for
the next few couple of hours, and all best to all listees, wherever you live,
