[meteorite-list] AD - SAU 001 (Oman) dealer's lot of 1356g (125 stones)
Hello, I've got a dealer's lot for sale, of 1356g of SAU 001 (nice Omani chondrites). There's about 125 stones, ranging from 1g to 35g. Most of you know, SAU 001 is a L5 chondrite found in 2000 in Oman. Make an offer. Re: [meteorite-list] Sutter's Mill now at IOM
Hi Carl! Thank you for pictures! I hope you consider submitting them for the bulletin, once it is approved. Could I ask a favor? When you have them on the probe, could you take some pictures of the entire process??? I am assuming you will mount these, and it would be nice to get some pictures of that process. Plus some pictures of the scan would be really appreciated as well! Re: [meteorite-list] Quickie
I would say less. The highest density of the moon stays on the earth side now, so the 1/r^2 magnitude of the gravity effect is maximized. If it were rotating, the average pull would always be less than it is now. Sent from my iPhone On May 19, 2012, at 10:16 PM, pshu...@messengersfromthecosmos.com wrote: I have a quetion. [meteorite-list] Sutter's Mill 0.55 gram
Sent Mike farmer some pictures of the crust side of the tiny fragment I found and he suggested I share them with the list. The piece is only 6 by 9 mm but packs as much interest per gram under the microscope as any meteorite I've seen.
