Re: [meteorite-list] Meteorite List
If the list is dying it's simply because the vast majority of the posts are disagreements and advertisements. It has become pretty much worthless as a source of information...unless the information you desire is who is mad at who this week and why prices are what they are ignoring the simple fact that this is, to most people on the list, a hobby. Personally, I go through the messages once a week or so, read the ones of interest (of which there are few) and perform a mass delete. Re: [meteorite-list] Fwd: new litosiderite for sale--open in the meteorite
Note that the certificate does NOT say that it's a meteorite. That is listed as the name of the rock. __ Meteorite-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list
Re: [meteorite-list] Re: Pardon me, dude
Mike, Personally, I think you should get the award for even understanding what the hell Matteo is saying. I've read every one of his emails and I still can't even figure out his point half the time. He does, however, seem like an evil tempered little jerk. Jay Foersterling
Re: [meteorite-list] yet more ebay junk--Keep on IMCA list?
Personally, I find the postings of bizarre eBay material highly entertaining. As a collector who also has a day job, I often don't get the opportunity to scan all the eBay listings. The only way I notice some of these items is via this forum. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think it's fun...and educational. Remnants from the infamous shotput pit perhaps?
