Hello All, I guess nobody else saw this fireball that I mentioned in the previous e-mail. I will get the azimuth on Wednesday. I also submitted this to about 5 TV stations and 2 of the 5 meteorologists got back to me and never received a call. How strange is this???. Is there a web site that I could go to to see if this was documented?. It was white and in one piece and in the Eastern sky and lasted for 3-4 seconds. It came awfully close to the earth. Hello All, I was just going to ask anyone who lives in GA if they saw a HUGE falling star that cam very close to earth last night at approximately 10:55 PM?. I saw it as I was getting on the 400S ramp in Alpharetta,GA. I have never seen such a sight in my life!!. It was VERY large and didn't dissipate until the last minute!!. Thanks everyone!!. I agree also Karin...I think that Steve is a wonderful and giving person and he has given me very good insight when it comes to Meteorites. I have also received many free samples from him. How many people on this list do that?. I think that there are just a few people that resent him because they are just plain jealous. Steve is one of the coolest people on the list and is just very excited about Meteorites!!. Hello List, I recently just won the Nininger book called A Comet Strikes the Earth for $15.00. I was just going to check with you all to see if that was a good deal. Hello List, A few weeks ago I asked the list if anyone has ever heard about a meteorite that was found in the Fort Walton Beach,FL area in 1989. I was just going to ask again to see if anybody did ever hear about this find or if it was just a hoax. A good friend of mine who was stationed at Eglin AFB with me told me that it was found.
