No, Non, No!!! it was really great I think something went wrong at the Lang's auction - Michael Blood's was great! I stayed until the tables were cleared and only saw happy faces! I heard no complains. This is a great event and specially for me going there for the first time, I would have picked up if there was pickering going on. Re: [meteorite-list] AUCTION RESULTS - Blood and Lang
Hi once more, I don't agree with this position simply because isn't that why one goes to an auction? Too deal and get a deal. So if you display the prices it should not matter at all. Actually I would think, what a steal people got purchasing the meteorites for a low price and if I look for a specific one, check the next time there is an auction and if it is offered, see if I couldn't win it at a low price too. Auction prices don't reflect the true market values. I am sure everyone knows that! Regards, Moni From: "Jim Strope" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Meteorite Central" Subject: [meteorite-list] AUCTION RESULTS - Blood and Lang Date: Thu, 8 Feb 2007 09:57:49 -0500 I agree with Michael Blood's position that the public posting of final auction prices is a bad idea. Auction prices are NOT an indication of true market values, either high or low. Jim Michael Farmer Wrote: >This is simple auction procedure. I will post my list >first thing in the morning. Re: [meteorite-list] AUCTION RESULTS - Blood and Lang
Hi Jim and All, I also go to an auction and it is the same as you describe. I think if you have to wait until all the auction is done, it is simply because there isn't enough staff. At the auction I attend, there is two auctioneers that take turns and then about three people helping with showing, putting the items on the back table and as you wrote, getting the items and handing them to the winner after his purchase. Also if someone has called in a bid, the auctioneer just starts with that price and if he gets more, then the other bidder who bid higher wins the item. With best regards, Moni From: "Jim Strope" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] AUCTION RESULTS - Blood and Lang Date: Thu, 8 Feb 2007 10:52:15 -0500 While I agree with you in principle for big professional auction houses, you need to attend an auction in Denver or Tucson before reserving judgement. Some of them are very informal and not like a normal auction situation. In at least one auction that I attended, the procecure is unlike a normal auction in such a way that tends to depresses the prices in my opinion. For example, in a normal auction if I buy item number 10 out of 200 items offered and want to go home, then I just check out, pay and go home. At at least one Tucson auction that I attended, I would have to wait until the end of the auction to pay and then pay in bidder number order. So instead of going home at 8:00 when I am done buying I have to wait until until all bidding on all items is completed before I can go home which could be well after midnight. This makes it so that people don't tend to bid unless they REALLY, REALLY want the item. So prices are certainly not representative to prices much may have been realized in one of the big auction houses. Just my two cents... Re: [meteorite-list] Tucson Show and Birthday Bash!!
Hi All, I had such a wonderful time at Tucson, my very first time after 5 years of enjoying my passion for meteorites! I will be forever grateful to Bob V. to introduce me to this great hobby because I am so delighted to have met so many of you in Tucson! What a diverse group and so much in common! Also some new people I have met, I recommended to them to join this list. Ensisheim was wonderful too and I hope to go back there also! But Tucson, it was fantastic! I met so many members that I have written to on the list and I am so happy to finally have met you! Missed Art though! I actually didn't recognize Mexico Doug, we argued for fun on who he really was! And also McCartney. I thought he lived in the UK. He had to convince me that, no, he lives in Texas!! The Chladni's Heir made it - what pleasure to meet Martin again! And finally Andreas and Stefan. I really hope you will come again next year! The birthday bash was too much fun. Happy Birthday Geoff and Steve! The awards rightfully given to the deserving people! I know if I would mention all the people I had conversations with, I would forget one or two. So I want to thank all of you for being great meteorite enthusiasts and wish you well. I hope some of you who haven't been to Tucson to join us next year, you will have a great time! I am sending my yahoo photos URL in case some of you want to see some pictures. Hello Bernd and All, thank you very much for the article. I have read some articles on classification, but this one written by Frank Stroik is easily understood. I do have a better idea of how classifying a meteorite is done now. I can see also how mistakes are made, also given the time one has to put in to have the proper result. Do you think with so many NWAs being classified that some are done faster than others and I don't mean only NWAs? So I have heard before that some universities have a different outcome. Date: Fri, 22 Dec 2006 10:04:50 +0100 Hi Rob, You are completely right. I used the worst phrasing I could! Wanted to write "by ALL means"...No misspelling, no odd translation (in French it just means the same), just... rush and inadvertence! And I used it twice! Now I also realize that even "by all means" is not strong enough to express my support to Bernd. I agree that perhaps "by all measures" would be more appropriate to use here. Rob, thank you very much for the remark that certainly now throws more light on what I had in mind. My error was not even "humorous", just unintentional, as I could never have imagined writing my friend Bernd would be "far from the best choice"...I wouldn't write that even for an ennemy! Bernd, who is as fluent in English as he is in...French!, most certainly understood my poor phrasing and corrected by himself. He knows all about my appreciation of his achievements, erudition and his always friendly willing to help. Finally Rob, your remark not only helps removing doubts regarding my appreciation of Bernd's achievements and kindness but is perhaps here the best advertising for his nomination. I am so very happy he is being unanimously proposed. All my best wishes for Christmas and a happy New Year 2007 (with many finds and, why not, some "falls into your backyards" ?) to all of you, English natives or speaking, "overchannel (UK)", "overseas (US)", "down under(Austr. & NZ)" and...wherever in the world. RE: [meteorite-list] Brenham Project
And thank you for sharing it all with us Mr. Mani and Steve! Wonderful achievements! Sincerely, Moni From: "Philip mani" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Subject: [meteorite-list] Brenham Project Date: Sat, 21 Oct 2006 09:13:47 -0500 This letter is my first post to the Meteorite List after being a long-time reader. I am the fortunate beneficiary of much recognition from so many of you related to my Brenham Project with Steve Arnold. Thank you for your kind words and encouragements. With this posting, I wanted to publicly recognize certain individuals who are the main contributors, in my opinion, to our most recent expedition and without whose efforts and creativity the wonderful story written by Associated Press would not have been possible. It was last July when I began conversations with Carolyn Sumners, Director of Astronomy of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. I offered HMNS an opportunity to join Steve and I in Kansas on a meteorite search and recovery project. Mrs. Sumners was excited about the opportunity and asked me what specifically HMNS could contribute as far as unanswered questions about the find. I told her we questioned the timing/age-date assigned to the fall and we wished to try to pin-down its timing. We discussed several methods for age-dating and left her and her experts to further discuss and implement the methods for age-dating. A second question is the direction of the meteorite fall, specifically, its bearing and descent angle. This question is more complex and we felt we needed to gather as much survey information as possible without disturbing the meteorites and the soil around them. At this point, Mrs. Sumners contacted Dr. Essam Heggy with the Lunar Planetary Institute regarding his ground penetrating radar work. I informed Steve and he said he would do his best for the museum. I remained convinced he could find another meteorite. After all details with the HMNS, LPI, and our landowners were worked out, I contacted our good friend, Darryl Pitt, to assist with all facets for release of information to the public regarding this expedition. You all know our results. Steve was able to pull the golden rabbit out of the hat. My sincere appreciation and congratulations to him once again and, if you have seen the strewnfield you understand why. He tells me he feels his ability to do so again from this point on will be less and less. Therefore, our search and recovery efforts for Brenham meteorites is beginning to wind-up. Carolyn Sumners' group from HMNS included astronomers, geologists, paleontologists and archeologists with long and storied excavation and recovery experiences. It was a joy and a treat to be an observer of their efforts. I am excited for them and their unique meteorite recovery. Good going. Dr. Heggy, with LPI, was faced with a substantial change of conditions from those he originally anticipated in the field. Southwest Kansas had received quite a bit of rain and in the last three days, we were in constant heavy drizzle, blown sideways by 20-plus mile an hour winds. If not for the excitement of the project and all involved, it would have been miserable to be in such conditions for the 12 or more hours per day. Dr. Heggy adapted his equipment and techniques and continued to proceed as diligently as the rest of us without becoming discouraged. His efforts too were rewarded. Finally, but certainly not least, Darryl Pitt single-handedly prepared the initial press release and then he, along with the brilliant efforts of a colleague of his in New York, facilitated the amazing Associated Press story by Roxana Hegeman. Darryl worked closely with Roxana a day or two before Monday's final excavation of the museum's 154-pound pallasite and she was very well prepared for what to expect on the final day. It was only yesterday evening I learned that Roxana's story has enjoyed the widest world-wide distribution of any story ever pertaining to meteorites (with the exception of the announcement of ALH84001). Certainly amazing. I am grateful to be a part of the Brenham Project. I have learned much more than I ever anticipated being a meteorite collector. This particular chapter of our project was such a treat to watch unfold. I am reminded of Greg's words to the List that this is an awesome story where meteorite hunters, collectors and scientists can join to work together closely in the field using new equipment to make a wonderful meteorite recovery. I am blessed to have participated. Congratulations to Carolyn Sumners and her HMNS team for their thoughtful work and the additional, continuing work to come both in age-dating the fall and hopefully determining the fall direction and angle. Great-going Dr. Heggy for your successful use and application of the GPR. Hats-off to Darryl for facilitating the AP wire story or, as I told him Tuesday morning when I le

Good Morning Michael and list, you should be excited about this site! Nicely put together! Great information! Must have kept you up many nights! ;-) Thank you for sharing, Moni From: Michael L Blood <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Meteorite List Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] Meteorite "Hammers" (AD) Date: Tue, 19 Sep 2006 02:09:15 -0700 Hi All, About 7 years ago I stumbled upon a page in the web site of Walter Branch. The page was a listing of all meteorites reported to have struck something when they fell to earth - some man made object, animal, or even a human being (such as the case of Sylacauga). I immediately found myself entranced by these very special meteorites and began collecting as many of these extraordinary falls as possible. I had already been collecting meteorites for many years, but this "new" realm had an entrancing effect on me like none other before, with the possible exception of the obsession I developed to collect and offer every non-Antarctic SNC when there were only 6 of them known at the time (though only 4 had ever been available when I started). I read more and more, found other lists, began collecting photos, and, of course, buying at least a collection specimen of everything I could lay my hands on. In fact, I was so amazed at how difficult it was to find these precious rarities after the first dozen or so, I began in earnest to buy all the material I could find of the most rare varieties rarely seen (and I DON'T mean "rarely seen" as the term is used in eBay ads!) It has taken me well over 5 years to accumulate the stock I have built up and I have spent the last several months putting together a web site that not only lists each of the falls I offer in this rare category, but in most instances shows a photo or two of the building, car, roof, barn, mailbox, etc. actually struck by the meteorite. These are the car bashers, mailbox crunchers, house smashers, animal killers and human maulers. This is the real rogues gallery of the meteorite world. You are all invited to drop in and take a look see. I kept waiting and waiting to "open" this site because I always have one or two things "on the way" - but with over 30 falls represented, I decided I would use my 60th birthday as an excuse to launch this puppy. I am indebted to numerous people including, but not limited to, Walter Branch, Martin Horejsi, Bob Walker, Robert Haag, Edwin Thompson, Al Lang, and the list goes on & on. I hope you enjoy what you see. Many of the photos took many, many hours of research - and some of those were the easier ones to find. There are links to dozens of videos of the Peekskill fireball, a photo of oh, well, just go there for yourselves. Check it all out at: http://www.michaelbloodmeteorites.com/Hammers.html This site will be obsessively kept up to date in terms of stock availability. I know I haven't always done this in my regular catalog, but this page will be updated with each and every sale and all new material as it comes in on a daily basis. Can you tell I am excited about it? Best wishes, Michael PS: If you have or know of any applicable material not on my site that is available for mere money, please let me know. I will give anyone a nice "finder's fee" for any material I end up purchasing as a result of a lead given to me. __ Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list __ Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list

Hi All, and Adam and Michael. and keep it off the list! That would really mean you solved the issues. Thanks, Moni From: Michael Farmer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com Subject: [meteorite-list] forget about yesterday Date: Thu, 17 Aug 2006 08:22:57 -0700 (PDT) Ok, here goes. I had a long nearly two hour phone call to Adam Hupe last night. We solved some issues, and cleared the air. We both pushed each others buttons today and a fight ensued. Most of you know us, so this is nothing new, we both know how to do it like pro's. Adam took offense at my post regarding shipping. I never meant it to regard him or Greg, but they saw it that way. They charge $4.05 for shipping, and they ship priority for that price. I was saying that people who charge $4.05 and ship first class are ripping people off, not people who charge that and who use the same money for shipping. So if Adam writes $4.05 shipping and sends it that way, they are of course, NOT ripping people off. If you bid on their item, then you agree to that shipping price. We cleared that issue up and I do not want anyone to think that I meant they were guilty anything. That was a major misunderstanding apparently. I am taking care of it now. Things went from bad to worse since we both are hotheads and did not talk until too late. I am stressed out from a long trip and the pressure of paying the credit cards off forced me to start selling today. When Adam hit back at my sales, well, there we go. So, please just forget today, we will start over fresh tomorrow, our 6 month blow up is over, and back to business of meteorites. We call it the Ragu Rocket. We have not compared other pasta sauces so feel free to experiment. Background... While working in the back yard I found an empty Ragu bottle next to the fence. We have nice neighbors on the other side so the idea of them tossing it over the fence was out of the question. We have squirrels, raccoons and possums that go through the back yard so I figured one of them needed a little Italian snack and dragged it over from the trash. I walked across the yard to throw it in the trash can and discovered 2 interesting observations upon approaching the trash can. 1. The trash can was close to full with an upside down plastic bag on the top with a rounded hole in it (vs an animal clawing or chewing it open). 2. There were splatters of sauce inside the trash can and on the cement on the side of the can opposite from the wall I found the Ragu bottle. My hypothesis is that my wife: 1. Threw away a partial bottle of Ragu with the cap on. 2. The capped Ragu bottle was positioned upside down in the trash can. 3. The bacteria in the sauce produced enough gas to eventually blow the lid off. 4. The force was enough to launch the Ragu bottle across the yard. Question? How much Ragu is needed to reach escape velocity? Paul At 04:32 PM 8/11/2006, Matson, Robert wrote: Sterling wrote: > But if you're dropping the flag right now, I'm breaking out the > champagne! RE: [meteorite-list] Hunting in Muonionalusta
Hi All, just got back from a camping trip and I must say, I surely wish I would be hunting with Michael Farmer, he sure is a very lucky guy! Finds something everywhere he goes! Go Michael! Come on to California!!! Any time, Moni From: "Jim Strope" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "MeteoriteList" Subject: [meteorite-list] Hunting in Muonionalusta Date: Fri, 4 Aug 2006 13:35:03 -0400 Just got off of the phone with Mike Farmer. He and Robert Ward are now hunting in Muonionalusta. One good thing is that they can get a cell phone signal in the strewnfield. Today is Mike's birthday and he was lucky enough to find a 47kg Muonionalusta Meteorite so I guess this qualifies as "his" birthday meteorite. They are having a great time picking and eating lots of blueberries as they hunt. Reindeer are everywherr. But unfortunately, they have to watch out for the bears. Seems like there is always some kind of drawback no matter where you hunt!!! Hello List. Its alvays nice to comeback to home from succesfull and exciting trip and find that You are slandered by others who are also not clean like crystals. Yes we found specimens of this new incredible fall. Fragments from first recovered specimens that hit iron plate. Fragments that could found Martinsen family, people from Oslo university, Americans, Germans, Norwegians, Swedens hunter teams and hundreds of other persons who visit this place before we arrive. We was lucky enough to find them in area where others walk destroying them with his shoes. Thats why we are pirats, thiefs and bad guyz ? When we finaly arrived into fall site of first specimen after 4 hours of searching this place we enter into empty property of Mr Ragnar Martinsen to make some photos of ourself and iron plate that lay on the ground. There was NO TIME to wait for someone from Martinsen family and ASK for permission to enter. We have only 2,5 day for hunt then some of our group must comeback to regular work. Next day we meet Martinsen family at their house and make with then nice long talk and ofcourse some photos with lucky finder. Norvegian people are very friendly and Im sure it was not a problem to enter Martinsen property in that specific case. We look aroun forest, grass fields, streets etc. around Ragnars property, but we not enter into growing wheat/corn fields what do European team member from a country starting with "G" and finaly was loudy removed by the locals patroling this area. It has been a pleasure working with the city on this event and I can now providealmost full details on the festival. Things keep getting added daily so it will be interesting to see how things go. First and foremost, Steve Arnold and family will be in the town with the 1430 lb. Brenham he discovered last fall. The festival is to honor the return of the meteorite and all events were more or less planned around it. (Congrats. again Steve). 7 am to 10 am: Helicopter Rides (must be booked in advance). Sounds like a great chance for me to get a strewn field photograph. 8 am to 10 am: Disc Golf. Not sure if this is a tournament or if there is prizes or the like. My oldest brother John plays disc golf so adding this event to the festivalhas him coming out. 10:30 am: Parade, Downtown Haviland. 11 am to 5 pm: Meteorite Exhibits. These include: Dr. Don Stimpson, Ph. D. Kansas Meteorite Society, Mark Bostick Steve Arnold (1430 lb.) Pallasite Meteorite Display. Balloon Launch and Food Vendors: 1 pm to 5 pm Other events, many aimed at children, include: Banana Bike Races, Face Painting, Metal Detector Field, Clown Shows, Children's Science Art Corner, Meteor Story Time, Moonwalk, Big Slide, Quilt Display and Demonstration, Portrait Drawling, Speakers, Live Entertainment and Meteorite Dig. Later evening events include: Historical Tour 6 pm to 8 pm, Picnic in the Haviland City Park, Fireworks, Stargazing and the International Space Station Passover. More things will likely be added to fun filled, meteorite packed, day of activities. Should anyone want to fly in, you would book your tickets for Wichita, Kansas. Jerry Calvert, me and other Kansas Meteorite Society members will be leaving here early for the festival, however I image one of us could give someone a ride to and from Wichita, saving you renting a car, if desired. Special thanks to Jeff D. Christenson, the mayor of Haviland for noting the importance of the 1430 lb. Brenham discovery and arranging for the city to pay for expenses to bring the meteorite back and to organize this event. Re-2: [meteorite-list] Barringer Ban Area
I totally agree with Bernd that Thomas was very lucky indeed to have been able to keep them and first of all very lucky to have found some. As I understood from previous posts, I thought it was very hard to find some at all. Maybe Thomas can add to this when he sees the posts. Maybe its shale (?) that he found, that was another idea I heard. Bernd have you seen them? I believe the best to do is what Gary has in mind, ask the ranger or whoever is responsible for the Barringer Crater. Its pouring and thundering in Sacramento, Wish they were meteorites and sonic booms! ;-) Moni From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com Subject: Re-2: [meteorite-list] Barringer Ban Area Date: 18 Dec 2005 21:15:18 UT Hello Gary and List, "Interesting - they let them keep their finds." Gary, if I were you, I wouldn't count on that. Thomas was just lucky they did not search his/their pockets!" But if you should go there and try your luck (be careful, please and do not let your passion for meteorites carry you away!), it will be of interest that the area where the highest concentration of Canon Diablo meteorites occurred is the area in the northeast quadrant that extends directly from the crater rim to about 3/4 of a mile from the crater (mostly smaller pieces). Larger chunks were found in the southeast quadrant about 1 1/2 to 2 miles away from the crater rim and another one three to four miles away from the crater rim in a small area about 45° south of east (or 45° east of south). There is a preliminary write-up for his find here: http://tinyurl.com/74glt And it just so happens that, back in 2002, I took an image of this find: http://www.geocities.com/bolidechaser/drylakes/suv012-8.jpg This image was taken in the field from the hatch-back end of the Utas SUV shortly after Jason and his father, Peter Utas, made these finds at Superior Valley (in 2002). Even at that time, Jason was pointing out that this small (1.77g) stony was "different looking". I agreed with him on that, and suggested that he and his father take it to UCLA and let Alan Rubin examine it. In anticipation of them doing this, I offered to help them get provisional numbers from the NomCom for all of these finds. And as an aid in getting this done, I suggested that before I take the image, they should line up all of their finds in the order that they were found. A minor point, but what resulted is this image with all their finds side-by-side, and in both numerical and chronological order. It sort of explains why we request provisional numbers, even for these "small" meteorites. It just seems prudent. And when one of them ends up being an Acapulcoite, it gives ample justification. It was serendipity that we crossed paths in the Mojave Desert on that weekend in September 2002. And the Utas were very obliging to let me image their recent finds. So I am very appreciative to them for having given me the opportunity to record, what is now 3 years later, a not-so-minor event in California meteorite-recovery. Jason, along with his dad, have gone on to find many more California meteorites. And Peter deserves some credit for getting his son involved in meteorite-recovery at such an early age. Jason and Peter should be proud of their accomplishments. Steve did not quote any prices to the media, so the $12 million figure is just one of those colorful media exaggerations. However, the pallasite is extraordinary and is definitely oriented (something you cannot really see in these photos) -- it's one big nose cone. Additional photos will be forthcoming. The find, at 1,400 pounds, beats the next largest Brenham found by Stockwell in 1949 (1,000 lbs) and therefore becomes the main mass. I'm sure you'll all want to join me in congratulating our friend Steve on this find of a lifetime. I know you all want to see the photos, taken by Steve's partner Phil Mani, so here they are: http://www.aerolite.org/brenham.htm Well done Steve!! Geoff *** FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 9, 2005 WORLD RECORD METEORITE UNEARTHED BY HUNTER IN KANSAS A 1,400-pound stony-iron pallasite meteorite found in Kiowa County is the largest of its type ever recovered in the United States, and the third largest in history Steve Arnold, 39, a professional meteorite hunter from Arkansas has found and excavated a meteorite weighing almost three quarters of a ton from a farmers field near Haviland, Kansas. The discovery was made in late October using sophisticated metal detecting equipment. It is one of the most valuable meteorite finds ever made in the United States and is of historic and scientific importance. Meteorites rocks that have fallen to Earth from outer space are of considerable value to both scientists and private collectors. Meteorite collecting is a growing hobby, with thousands of enthusiasts worldwide willing to pay high prices for these rare sky rocks. Brenham meteorites, named after the Kiowa Country township in Kansas, were first found in the area during the 1890s, when frontier farmers sold a number of them to universities and mineral dealers. Brenham specimens are today on display in the American Museum of Natural History in New York, the Field Museum in Chicago, and other prominent institutions. They are of a rare type, known as pallasites, which account for only 1% of all known meteorites. Pallasites consist of a nickel-iron matrix full of colorful olivine crystals (the semi-precious gemstone peridot) and are very beautiful when cut and polished. Well prepared pallasite specimens often sell for between twenty and forty dollars per gram. Mr. Arnolds discovery is the largest pallasite ever found in America, and the largest oriented pallasite meteorite ever found anywhere in the world. An oriented meteorite is one which has traveled through Earths atmosphere without spinning and formed a conical or bullet shape as its surface melted. Oriented pallasites are extremely rare and highly prized by museums and private collectors. Steve Arnold was born in Kansas, and has been thinking about Brenham meteorites for more than a decade. I traveled all over the world hunting for meteorites, but came home to make my most important discovery. I was just sure there were more of them out there waiting to be found, he said. Mr. Arnold and his partner Phil Mani a geologist and oil and gas attorney from San Antonio, Texas made arrangements with local landowners, which allowed them to search for the deeply-buried meteorites. The 1,400-pound specimen was recovered at considerable depth, and a back hoe was needed to lift it. Dr. Art Ehlmann, Curator of the Oscar E. Monnig Meteorite Gallery at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth visited the site last week, and described Mr. Arnolds discovery as the most significant American meteorite find in decades. ### Video footage of the meteorite excavation is available. __ Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list __ Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list

By the way, I keep my collection room dehumidified. here's a pic of the slice: www.austromet.com/collection/Mont_Dieu_58.9g.jpg Cheers, Christian IMCA #2673 www.austromet.com Christian Anger Korngasse 6 2405 Bad Deutsch-Altenburg AUSTRIA email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bill Mason III Sent: Monday, October 10, 2005 4:21 AM To: 'Steve Schoner'; meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com Subject: RE: [meteorite-list] RE: POLL: rustiest most unstable known Dear, I give up rusters.
