I just finished the first of several trips to the Kendleton strewnfield. This trip was to establish locations listed in Monnig's notes in order to plot the strewnfield with reasonable accuracy.
All that is known about the main mass is that King found a single meteorite of 1588g off to the side of a public road. Does anyone have King's notes and can give me a few more specifics on the location of the piece he found? PS. It looks like most of the fall landed in the riverbottoms. Might as well be swamp. -- McCartneyTaylor, President BlackbeardData Services,LLC 800/ 762 3057 5114Balcones Woods Dr, PMB 307-288 Austin,TX 78759 ______________________________________________ Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list
