As the photographer responsible for this picture, I feel qualified to answer this question. The Museum chose (as Museums will) the more ancient of the two, although the mullet hairstyle made this determination a little more difficult than one might think. ;-)

Gregory Wilson and I saw that large, holey Canyon Diablo iron at the Field Museum recently, with a big label that said "Please Touch".
I remember commenting about how someone might easily get their hand stuck in one of the large pock holes.
