Rob, and the Responders,

Becoming One of The FaceBorn is an irrevocable
step. That's why they make you sign the I Agree
To Terms of Service in blood. Admittedly, it's only
digital blood, but it's permanent. Unless you can
get the ghost of Daniel Webster to plead your case
for you.

You can check out, but you can never leave...
I bet you even think that when you die, you won't
be on Facebook any more.

So sad.

Hi All,

Apologies for the off-topic post. I'm trying to delete myself from the
Facebook Meteorite group because the number of messages/posts per day
is insane. Of course, navigating through Facebook's pages, I have yet
to find a way to do so. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Rob

P.S. Given how hard Facebook has made it to leave a group, I will
never join another one.

facebook to test this.. which is o.k . since i stopped using facebook
a few years ago because its a waste of time.

Facebook a waste of time...? Hundreds of millions of people now use
Facebook as their open-id to keep their online profiles consolidated
and allow one-click-login to a myriad of sites all over the web.

Facebook is worth billions upon billions of dollars, over 500 million
users on Facebook, companies make untold millions of dollars using
Facebook for their businesses, and it connects hundreds of millions of
people worldwide, has helped raise hundreds of millions dollars for
causes and charities worldwide. Facebook has helped educate the
illiterate, empower women, feed the hungry, house the homeless, fund
scientific research for countless technologies -medical and commercial.
Facebook (and Twitter) has helped propagate political revolutions of
freedom through the world, and allows like minded individuals all over
the planet to communicate unimpeded by the limits of human
transportation, region, culture, race, or the oppressions of government
or religion. It connects, it teaches, it learns, it's the new internet.

I would beg to differ on your opinion that Facebook is a waste of time.

Regards,
Eric

The more meteorite dealers who think Facebook is a waste of time, the
better. ;)

Attention all other meteorite dealers - Facebook sucks, you won't make
any sales, you won't make any connections. Don't even bother
registering to find out. I checked it out and I can confirm that it
is worthless and is not worth wasting your time.
