The theory of evolution is taught in all accredited schools in the US. and not Creationism. The theory of evolution is older than Carl Marx's Communist party of 1903, and who are you trying to scare with Communist talk, and so now you also bring in old politics. The study of Meteorite is a science, started in 1863 when Prof. Maskelyne made the present date accepted division of Meteorite classification. Meteorite is not a true meteorite until it confirmed by scientific test and must also passes approval of the list into one of the division. We all accept this. ask Mohamed. The Bible for facts. Do you believe that Women have one less rib than Man, as told in the Bible, or do you believe medical science say there the same number of ribs. Science tell us the Sun came first, Earth and other planet millions of years later, someone need to update your Genesis. Let keep to the facts of science and keep religion and out of this. Hello Rick, I am upset with drug dealers, rapists and child abusersbut I'm also tired of Bible Thumpers telling the rest of us what we are supposed to believe. I'm always amazed that when it fits the situation, creationists claim that the Bible states certain factsbut when caught in a contradiction, they state that the Bible is not to be taken literally. Which is it?? And why did it take the Catholic Church 500 years to apologize and admit that Galileo was correct...when it is so easy to look up into the sky and see for ourselves that he was obviously right?? Science attempts to back up statements with facts. Theories are developed, tested and are then open to peer review. They are then confirmed, denied or refined. If you would scrutinize the Bible as harshly as you do the theory of evolution, I am sure that your view would change. Hello Rick and list. Not always easy to see design by intelligence when viewing human affairs and history. But where the universe is concerned how many humans have ever enveloped it in total understanding? It seems to outpace our intelligence so much as to seem the work of Intelligence unapproachable I don't know, maybe the adepts of mystical schools can reach a level of understanding that encompasses all of creation. And, arguments from design are not beneath the philosopher in the scientist. Many strong scientific minds have not been uncomfortable with spiritual beliefs. Where Evolution Religion is concerned, well, I believe it's a theory to explain how life changes with time. And the idea of punctuated equilibrium suggests that explosions of life that radiate and branch anew happen now and then. In any event, biological evolving and creation are not mutually exclusive ideas necessarily. On the other hand, I don't know anyone claiming meteorites are 8 billion years old...
