Hello list, any one on the list a psychiatrist? If so, can you explain why
there is a bidder on this?

Thanks, Tom

Tom,
Hard to say... the seller could not tell me if the item
was attracted to a magnet. This auction is limited to
Australia. The seller and bidder are in Australia.
The Great British Meteorite Hunt ended with
over 1,000 suspect meteorite reports being
submitted. Of 100 checked, only one real meteorite
was found in the lot:
http://www.open2.net/astronomy/isitameteorite/questions.htm
Since then end of the Hunt an increased
number of wrongs have been showing up in the UK.
(H:) The following auction :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemitem=2294138814
was one in which the seller was caught
shill bidding their wrong and kicked off ebay.
Perhaps a possible scenario. Then again, perhaps not.
Best,
Ken

Something looks very fishy about the seller and bidder. Note that the bidder
on the meteorite has
also bid on the coin and the guitar setup-- and those are the ONLY three items
he has bid on in the
past 30 days. His only feedback point is from July 2003. So I don't think I
would be making too
much of a leap to say that dawson422 bid on the meteorite because he and
jong0304 are the same
person.

Dear Ken,
I contacted this yard bird a few days ago noting the classification
issue and that it looked questionable with out classification and that
the piece probably was way over priced for a questionable rock not
confirmed to be meteorite so he knows it is a suspicious item... He
played the game of getting it classified/offered to have it done as a
condition of salami doubt that this is anything other than a scam but
new to this joker.

Any time you see the seller and bidder(s) have a feedback of 1 or
lessthat's a pretty good indication of shill bidding. But, then
again half the links I hit went to some peregine flier site. ;-) (Just
kidding Tom). Sorry for the bottom post reply to you all. ;-)

Click on the seller's other auctions and notice who the high bidder is
for each item. Dawson421. Guess I came out of a 4 year retirement
tonight.
