As I understand, Sales can be applied either to individual Products, or to whole Categories. However, there's something about Category-wide Sales that confuses me. If you create a Sale from the Sales admin and apply it to a Category, the changes are ignored until you go to the Page admin and manually attach the Sale to a Category instance. Is this the intended behavior? I would like to let staff members create Sales, but without giving them access to editing Product Categories. It seems it's currently not possible to do so.
