Re: [mezzanine-users] How to correct this error? "select_related () got an unexpected keyword argument 'depth'"

2015-04-24 Thread Ronald Espinoza
Ken thank you very much.

Since I work, I think the "collecttemplates" command ruined everything, but
I went back to create everything from the virtual environment, and thank
God and you and no problems with the wishlist. I'm glad the great help they
have given me hopefully also can help soon. Greetings from Ecuador, God
bless.

Re: [mezzanine-users] How to correct this error? "select_related () got an unexpected keyword argument 'depth'"

2015-04-24 Thread Ken Bolton
Hi Ron,

That one line is helpful, sure. Typically, we want to see the full stack of
the error. A decent example of what I mean is at
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stack_trace in the first section.

On line 137 of cartridge.shop.views

in the master branch, we do not see the `select_related()` method being
called. The `depth` keyword argument was removed from select_related in
Django 1.5, from what I can tell.

I believe that your version of Cartridge is not compatible with your
version of Django.

Hope this helps.

Hi Ken.

Thank you very much for your attention, attach a picture to my question
where is the exception that it presents. Is that what you requested me?
Here the error occurs: "C: \ Users \ Ron \ environments \ mezzanine \ lib \

Hi Ronald,

Is there a full traceback for that error? It is usually helpful to know
which specific module and method produced the error.
