Ah, thanks Manu. Glad it's gone into their FAQ so quickly. Very exciting news. Sweet! I see they’re supporting hreview, hcard, and xfn. Yahoo added rdf and microformat support to the Yahoo! BOSS http://developer.yahoo.com/boss api several months ago. You can even do a query and only get sites that have microformats and then use those results to build your sites or do additional work Here's a post I wrote about starting a simple semantic search engine using BOSS. http://www.bosshacks.com/build-semantic-search-boss.html Yahoo's SearchMonkey project bubbles up semantic data to the search results. This is the same data that is now avialable to you as a search api. This is great! But browsing through the Google site I believe there is an error, suggesting that hcard uses class="v:title" http://google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=146646 in the section "Example: Microformat/XFN" It appears to be a cut'n'paste error from the RDF section. There is no feedback link on the page -- how can we contact Google to get that fixed? --Bob. Thanks Bob for the bug fix! Yes, we noticed your suggestion and made the change in our docs. We have also read the very useful examples page (http://microformats.org/wiki/google-rich-snippets-examples) on the microformats wiki, and have made many of the simple fixes that were raised. I've been a bit swamped so we haven't addressed everything in the doc quite yet, but we really appreciate the bug-fixes, feedback and suggestions.
