[Mikrotik Users] Service tag and Trango Apex

2016-09-16 Thread Christian Palecek via Mikrotik-users
Hello,

I am having an issue that I'm not sure which device is causing.

I have a Trango Apex Lynx that plugs in to a Mikrotik CRS. I setup a
ingress vlan rule that translates this port in to an untagged svlan port,
but when I do this I lose connectivity.

The egress, vlan, and trunks are setup correctly. In fact there are two PTP
820S that have an identical setup that work fine, and I have two trango
apex's that need to be on this same vlan but when adding them to the ingress
rule that's when I lose connectivity.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I am a visual guy... i know the terms you are using to describe the setup, if
you are running into an issue, chances are you might be thinking one thing and
actually doing another ...

so, how about doing a visual presentation of what you have and what you are
trying to accomplish.

Depending on the hardware release and firmware version, you have to run
vlan_add or something like that to allow the VLANs you want to be passed
through the ApexLynx.
