Would you mind if we post this to talk@ NYCBUG?
Seems like a good place to find OpenBSD focused people.

Would any OpenBSD developer in the NYC metro area like free equipment?

2024-02-24 Thread Ahmed Khanzada
I want to offload a bunch of OpenBSD devices that I have before my baby
arrives so that I can free up a room for her. :)

I am giving away the following for free. I would really prefer an
OpenBSD developer to pick this stuff up:

- 2 MacPPC laptops (running OpenBSD 6.6)
- 1 SPARC64 Sun Ultra 45 tower (I removed the disks, you'll need to buy your
own)
- 1 x86 MiniPC that I never put together

My wife and I live a carless lifestyle, so I was hoping to find a
developer in the NYC metro area willing to make the drive for free
stuff.

Thank you,
Ahmed

Another option is to use acme-client(1). Provided that you are happy
with lets encrypt or buypass this could be really easy

* It is in base so it will work out-of-the-box and you don't need to
install any packages for this task.
* It has super easy config.
* It's typically usage is to work with httpd and uses the correct
  directories by default.
* It is no python
