PF blocking cvs out
When I try to run cvs for src/ports/xenocara it doesn't work, but when I disable PF it works fine. What is the issue? What port do I allow out to install from ports? How can I tighten up my rules? ext_if = "dc0" int_if = "lo0" block all match in all scrub (no-df random-id) antispoof quick for { $ext_if, $int_if } pass in quick on $ext_if proto tcp from 192.168.1.1 port 22 pass quick proto tcp from any to any port ssh \ flags S/SA keep state \ (max-src-conn 1, max-src-conn-rate 1/60) pass out on $ext_if proto tcp from port 22

dual Pentiums
Have the Pentium dual cores been better to work with? I remember the posting about the bugs in the Core 2 Duo's, and I am wondering if the Pentium dual-cores are better, if they have been done better or is there a workaround used for those too?
Re:
I have it installed, the sets and that, but no ports or anything. I have to add a user and all that. I don't use my computer for anything on the net right now, want to install KDE so I can do all the net\webmail and music\video stuff I usually do. And for gaim, there's ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/snapshots/packages/i386/gaim-2.0.0beta6p2.tgz ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/snapshots/packages/i386/gaim-2.0.0beta6p2-gtkspell.tgz > > I on > Ok, I'm using 4.0 from the FTP install for the sets, I still have find > how to get the ports installed, and wanted to see if, and how, to get K > 3.5.6 installed, or should I just use what's ever in the ftp directory > for 4.0. So you don't even have a system installed yet? Go read http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq4.html, twice. Once you're set up, run `man pkg_add` and read it. Also, there is no gaim2 port for OpenBSD, as far as I know. You're stuck with gaim1.5 like the rest of us. -Nick Create and Share your own Video Clip Playlist in minutes at Lycos MIX (http://mix.lycos.com)

I on Ok, I'm using 4.0 from the FTP install for the sets, I still have find how to get the ports installed, and wanted to see if, and how, to get K 3.5.6 installed, or should I just use what's ever in the ftp directory for 4.0. -[ Received Mail Content ]-- Subject : Re: Date : Thu, 15 Mar 2007 19:32:33 +0100 >From : Nico Meijer To : "x x" Cc : Hey "x x", > Is it safe to install snapshot packages?
