Is running -current out of the question? If not, grab the latest snapshot from your nearest mirror and try running that. You don't have to build anything from source.

Hi Installing 4.4 on my eeepc 900 result in a system that cant boot ( install is working just fine). The message from kernel was "...rewiring..." (sorry, all i can remember now) Is there anyone that can offer a clue about how to get it to work? PLEASE, the ubuntu thing I got going now is driving me crazy! :) //Mats
