Re: MeteorJS on OpenBSD - has anyone tried?

Just a brief FYI for those interested in the "MeteorJS on OpenBSD"
theme. This will be my last post on this subject, unless something
particularly interesting (such as a working solution) comes up.

In a nutshell:

- According to MeteorJS forums, it was possible to make OpenBSD run on
OpenBSD 5.7. However, it does not compile properly on 5.9 nor
  CURRENT. I'm not 100% sure about 5.8.

- There are several small glitches that need solving. I was able to
hack my way through several of them, but got stuck with an issue that
has to do with pax/tar not supporting long enough path/file names.

- A more detailed report regarding my findings this far can be found at

Yours,

Jyri

MeteorJS on OpenBSD - has anyone tried?

Dear everyone,

I'd be curious to know if anyone on this list has investigated the idea
of running MeteorJS on OpenBSD. Did you get it running and if so, would
you be willing to share a walk through?
