Hibernate doesn't work in the amdgpu kernel; I got a uvm_fault once, and a second time the machine went catatonic and wouldn't boot again (I had to remove its backup coin cell to clear it). Summarizing, hibernate works with framebuffer. Amdgpu driver detects additional screens but is unstable, the graphics card seems to hang occassionally and then you have to reboot. Real pity because it would make my life easier. Suspend doesn't work at all with either UEFI fb or amdgpu. Sent a bug report. Will try new kernel as I see some more commits that may fix issues.
