KTTS Need-To-Know News
I hate all the press that is being given to the Police and Firefighters in regard to the sales tax. From what I understand, the city is OBLIGATED to fund the pension fund-regardless of whether a sales tax or anything else is done-period. All you need to do is to tell everyone you know that Greg Burris is not a one man operator of Springfield. He has to answer to the Council. In Fact he works for Council. They don't work for him. The stories that he is tell tv 33 and the public is not true. He is bound by State law to one cent on any tax ask for by the Council not Staff. All this crap he is blown around must be first brought to the people then an agenda then a vote of council. Not Greg the City employee running for Mayor.
