[MoLiCo] Joe Illegal
Mayor, I have written you a few times and have never wanted to offend you. I am afraid that I disagree with the City Council quite concerning the E-Verify Ordinance. I hope you are not irritated to much because of this email. I can see that the majority of the City Council is against Everify and I was one who helped get signatures because of what is said below. I have seen this right here on my block where illegals were hired. They do not even have to drive to work for the ones who use them drive them to and from work. They are illegal. They will fill the country to the point of our downfall of this economy and bankrupt our entitlements. Honestly, I do not think that this is racist. I taught Spanish in the Springfield Public Schools. All business here that can hire them for less and use them to get ahead should have to use E-Verify. I do not welcome into my home every person who walks by my house that is not working and many of these are those who could be working. I see landlords who rent only to people on Social Security and I know that many doctors here in town only help patients who are on Social Security. This seems extremely unhelpful for the society as a whole. We must watch what we do even in the name of charity. If we cannot afford charity, charity begins at home. I would think that our Council could study this and come to the understanding that our group is not evil or asking others to be evil. No other country in the world allows whomever wants to come into their country to do so. It simply does not work and is somewhat like just giving in to other countries who want to take what we have worked to make our country strong, although, our country is getting less and less so each and every day, week, month and year. I would rather send troops to Mexico in order to secure the negatives caused by the drug cartels and the government than allow them to destroy our prosperity and then in kind destroy their prosperity. Please do not think badly of me, but it is so hard to fathom that we are ignorant enough to call on the racist card. I have never been racist because my parents were so careful to teach us not to be be. Any employer who can use them to save money is not a loyal American and they are the ones that are causing the problems that Joe Illegal is causing. How can we continue with this without doing something to help our own progeny? This is the card that is being played. What would you do to change this ordinance? I see no dangerous idea in it that needs to be changed. We had one man want to rent one of our houses who brought pretty young Mexican women to Springfield and I swear he wanted to rent our house for them to live in until he sold them to men in this area for $500 and made no excuses nor lies. He planned to let a large number of young women live in the house because they would not be there "long". This is what begins to happen when there is no security for our borders. I want my home to be secure and I want my country secure. Many of these illegals are breaking the law in more than one way. I see that from the top down that the illegal is favored over us people who have worked for our freedom. In that I say that these people do not even have to defend what we give them and I mean give them. Think about the following: JOE vs.JOSE You have two families: "Joe Legal"and "Jose Illegal".Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California. Joe Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted. Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table". Ready? Now pay attention... Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has $31,231.00. Jose Illegal: $15..00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.0 0 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00. Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $24,031.00. Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00. Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00. Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps and welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00. Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe Legal now has 9,631 .00. Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy. Jose Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $ 31,200.00. Jerry, I know that I have made mistakes in some of the ways I have tried to improve our lives here in the Ozarks. Thank you for the opportunity to send this to the proper authorities for the best of this City. It looks like to me that the very people who use these illegals are the same people who lobby our City Council which is unspeakable or an evil thing for this City. Lobbying can be a very dangerous thing and this country has way too much of it from the wrong people or the greedy people. AT&T is ready to cut our throats again trying to buy out other cell phone companies, another example of greed. The fact is that they have already done so to an extent and that is why our cell phone bills are ridulous. Just another way we have to fight to keep prosperity while fighting the people who will ruin themselves while stealing from us. They may be intelligent in making money, but are ignorant of what is best for all if ys abd themselves. Thanks again for this. I knew it was severe but this makes it a picture for those who feel sorry for people who will hurt them in return. Even the illegals are ignorant of what they do. It is hard to forgive them for what they do. Am I not there yet?
