Alas! I have just modified my macros for the name as generated in the previous version. I'll have to change again when I next update mkgmap. How about a ---type-file-name= option? In my typ file, the subtypes for extended polygon types work fine now with mkgmap-r2140. The name of the txt file is now the name of the typ file which works great too.
