Hi All,

1. I have samsung galaxy Y pro duos b5512, with talkback installed.
why does talkback become silent sometimes?
It starts speaking only when I switch the phone of and then on it again.
2. In talkback preferences\keyboard shortcuts, it speaks many commands
such as time menu+t, battery level menu+B etc.
How do these commands work?
3. What games are available for blind android users?
Thanks,

Re: [Mobile.AI] Some queries regarding android.

2013-04-12 Thread Aaruni Sharma
Hello, 1. best would be to update your talkback to the latest version
which has just been released yesterday. If talkback goes silent, it
has more to do with the tts engine. so try espeak etc and see if the
problem persists.
2. the talkback commands no longer work after the keyboard was
excluded and the third-party keyboard was used. So you will have to
rely on tools like elixir, eyes-free shell etc for info relating to
battery etc.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Urgent help needed with dialer in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

2013-04-12 Thread Aaruni Sharma
there is a known bug in talking dialer because of which dialing
contacts whose number starts with a country code e.g. _91, will
produce unwanted results and the number won't be dialed and you will
get an error like "please check the number you have dialed". Otherwise
it works. One must listen to the eyes-free chanel podcasts produced by
the google team in order to use this dialer efficiently.

[Mobile.AI] Disconnecting Nokia C5 from laptop via USB cable

2013-04-12 Thread Rishi Kewalramani
Hi friends,
Hope you all are doing great.
I just wanted to know the right way of disconnecting my mobile phone, Nokia E5
and C5, from my laptop after I have finished using it with Nokia PC suite via
the USB cable.
Do we have to disconnect just as we do with our pen drives i.e safely remove
hardware?
or do we just plug out the USB wire from the laptop?
I ask this because I don't get the option of disconnecting my mobile through
the safely remove hardware dialog box.
I often connect my Nokia C5 and E5 to my laptop via USB cable and hence wanted
to know the right way of disconnecting.

Thanks®ards,
Rishi.

Re: [Mobile.AI] C5 Problem.

2013-04-12 Thread Sunil Sangtani.
the phone requires complete format or settings reset.
take back up of the important phone contents and licence info of the
talks and do the following:
dial *#7780#
the phone will ask security code that should be 12345 (if not changed)
key in the code and phone will restart.
it should resolve the issue if it doesn't,
format the phone completely by pressing *#7370# and key in the security code.
