I am using moto g. The battery life in my case is quite fair. I charge my phone every third day. Though it takes 3 hours in charging the battery fully. For maintaining good life of the battery, let the battery be discharge completely, then charge it fully. I charge my battery while my phone is switched off. One more application you can install, that is screen filter. it makes brightness of your screen dimmer, which saves the battery.
