[Mobile.AI] jestures available in Moto E.

2014-08-14 Thread Surya Prakash Sharma
Hello all,
recently a friend of mine asked me to compile all the jestures
available in Moto E. so I listed these for him. I am sharing the same
with the list for the benefit of new Android users.
 1. swipe left/right (with 1 finger): move backword/forward 1 object.

 2. swipe up/down (with 1 finger): move backword/forward 1 object.

 3. swipe right then down (with 1 movement): notifications area.

 4. swipe up then right (with 1 movement): global context menu.

 5. swipe down then right (with 1 movement): local contects menu.

 6. swipe right to left (with 2 finger): move to next page.

 7. swipe left to right (with 2 finger) move to previous page.

 8. two part vertical gesture: go to top/bottom screen

 9. double tap (with 1 finger): to launch selected items.

 10. double tap then hold (with 1 finger): move or drag an icon, view more
  options for selected items.

alternatively you can use following two jestures instead of serial No.
 6 and 7 respectively,
 11. swipe right then left in single motion with one finger to go to next page,

 12. swipe left then right in single motion with one finger to go to
 previous page.

there are other jestures too, but these are not of much use because
Moto E has three virtual keys at the bottom of the screen, namely,
back, home and recent apps. you can also change any jesture mentioned
above in talkback settings if you face any difficulty in performing a
 particular jesture.
HTH. feel free for any further query.
